Give potential candidates the chance to find opportunities with your company easily.  Have a page created specifically for career opportunities, and make sure that it is easy to navigate to.  People who are truly interested in your company will land directly on your page, so it only makes sense to make the search and application process as easy as possible for them.

For many companies, integrating an online application system might mean working with a third party, but the results can pay three-fold the cost of the service itself when you find the right candidates.  Online application systems also eliminate undue duties from your HR or recruiting teams so they can focus on other needs while the applicants walk themselves through the online process. You should be blogging about industry information, but don't let your blog become filled with distant material alone.  Bring some of the attention back in-house by including blogs about relevant open positions, company culture, and information that can attract potential candidates.  People who are looking for jobs and know they are well-qualified will put a lot of work into the job search itself.  As such, a blog about what it is like to work for your company can facilitate the hiring process at exponential levels.  When written well, search engines will likely pick up on these blogs, too, boosting your SEO rankings simply because you are hiring!

Customers are inside and outside  

Often times, people think of customers as being those who are served externally -- those who are billed and pay the company's bills.  Internally, customers are considered staff members who already work for the organization.  When you address hiring as though those potential employees are customers, too, you will likely enjoy a fantastic return on investment when it comes to creating a relationship-based hiring approach that attracts only the best and brightest candidates for your company.
